Princess Diana play ground and Memorial fountain.  I’m sure HRH is looking down in delight as both these places give a huge amount of pleasure to children.  The playground has a Peter Pan theme to fire the imagination, and includes a stream, and a huge ship to play on in the middle of the sand pit.  The musical play things to bash or jump on are also great fun.  A leisurely 20 minute stroll away is the memorial fountain / water feature, which is supposed to represent the ups and downs of her life ...  This is obviously lost on the kids who just love wading around the circular stone structure, with waterfalls, pools, choppy and slow sections.  The website says you are only allowed to dip your toes in - good luck to them enforcing that rule, (I have never seen them try), take a towel and swimming things / change of clothes, they will get completely soaked. Nearest Tubes: South Ken or Hyde Park Corner
